It is a spectacular setting: perching on a slope dense with cork oaks the property is surrounded by rich vegetation home to deer, rabbits and uncountable species of colorful birds. It comes to no surprise, therefore, that this finca is very popular with foreign guests repeating their holidays year after year in the property’s homely guest cottage to explore the beautiful country side around the picturesque village of Casares overlooked by the impressive mountain ranges of the Sierra Crestalina and the Sierra Bermeja.
A short concrete forest track leads to the electric entrance gate of the 35.000 m2 (8.75 acres) “finca” opening the views into the wide valley towards the Mediterranean. Leaving the car under the shelter of a double car park the entrance to the cortijo (andalusian farm building) is only a few meters away. Entering the villa the visitor is immediately captivated by the warm and attractive ambiance of the split level home with a large modern and fully equipped kitchen and integrated dining area where family live to the right and a few steps down the comfortable and cozy lounge offering stunning views into the lush country. To the left of the entrance is a bedroom with en-suite bath. On the upper floor are two good sized double bedrooms sharing one bath plus the master suite with en-suite bath. There also is a small office a few steps up from the second floor. Under the kitchen and entrance hall is an approximately 40 m2 cellar room with low ceiling making it an ideal storage facility. A few steps lead down from the kitchen to one of several terraces and an extended wooden deck catching the early sun. Further around is a solidly built barbecue with dining area. Another large terrace is reached a few steps down from the entrance hall. Here the wide rustic covered dining área seating 10 persons overlooks the splendid pool and the country side down the valley all the way the the sea. On a slightly higher leve lis another barbecue area and summer kitchen equipped with modern appliances..
A small path leads to the quaint guest cottage (90 m2/990sq f) about 50 meters away with a kitchen and lounge with wood burning stove on the entrance level and one double and one single bedroom sharing one bath on the lower level. Including the bed-couch in the lounge the guest cottage sleeps up to 5 persons and is regularly rented throughout the year providing excellent rental income. The guest cottage has its own plunge pool and is completely private from the main house. Between the main house and the guest cottage is a very useful work and tool shed of approximately 56 m2/ 620 sq f. Further up from the guest cottage a great play ground with two swings is the highlight for the young ones. The property has mains electricity and water and internet connection and is very easy to maintain leaving it to nature to maintain its breathtaking beauty.
